The Harborvale announces the appointment of Heinrich von Puschendorf as General Manager. As Burlington’s premier lakefront destination prepares for its anticipated opening in July 2026, this appointment marks the first in a series of strategic leadership hires.
Bringing more than 25 years of luxury hospitality experience, von Puschendorf has built a distinguished career leading renowned hotels and resorts across the United States. Most recently, he served as General Manager of White Barn Inn & Spa, where he successfully led operations, elevated service standards, and delivered exceptional guest experiences aligned with the acclaimed Auberge Collection brand.
“Heinrich’s appointment reflects the caliber of leadership and hospitality excellence we are bringing to The Harborvale,” said Hans van Wees, Managing Director of Westport Hospitality. “His proven operational expertise, commitment to service excellence, and passion for creating memorable guest experiences make him an outstanding fit as we introduce Burlington’s first Autograph Collection hotel.”
Throughout his career, von Puschendorf has held leadership roles at several distinguished luxury properties, including Four Seasons Hotel Beverly Hills, Resort at Pelican Hill, Fairmont Grand Del Mar, in California, Stowe Mountain Lodge, in Vermont, Cliff House, and White Barn Inn in Maine.
