Food & Wine Classic 2025 Coverage

For more than 40 years, Food & Wine has gathered the brightest talents in the culinary world for our iconic Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. Last year, we took that celebration of taste and talent to the South for the very first Food & Wine Classic in Charleston — and now, we’re thrilled to be back for round two.

With the help of Explore Charleston and in partnership with our friends at Southern Living and Travel + Leisure, we’re once again uniting an extraordinary lineup of chefs, cookbook authors, sommeliers, and hospitality experts. Together, we’ll be showcasing the best of Charleston’s vibrant food and wine scene through tastings, seminars, and live demonstrations designed to inspire and delight.

This year’s roster features culinary stars like Emeril and EJ Lagasse, Gail Simmons, Kwame Onwuachi, Tyler Florence, Maneet Chauhan, Andrew Zimmern, Melissa King, Claudette Zepeda, and Carrie Morey. Beverage experts, including Julia Coney, Wanda Mann, Amanda McCrossin, Anthony Giglio, Tiffanie Barriere, and Food & Wine’s own Ray Isle will lead wine and spirits sessions that promise to educate and entertain. Guests can also explore Charleston alongside the editors-in-chief of each magazine: Jacqui Gifford of Travel + Leisure, Sid Evans of Southern Living, and Hunter Lewis of Food & Wine.

Of course, no Classic weekend would be complete without the Grand Tasting Pavilion — the heart of the event — where attendees can sip, sample, and savor food, wine, beer, and spirits from dozens of exceptional brands. Beyond that, guests can enjoy curated off-site events in historic Charleston venues, exclusive chef-led experiences, and immersive access to hospitality moments that invite everyone to become part of the story.

Can’t make it to Charleston? No problem. We’ll bring the experience to you with daily coverage of seminars, chef interviews, and expert tips you can use to elevate your own cooking at home.

Check back here for fresh stories from the weekend — and get ready to be inspired by the flavours of the Lowcountry.
