Marriott San Antonio Airport proudly announces the appointment of Jimmy Malone as Director of Sales and Events, bringing more than 25 years of hospitality experience to the property’s leadership team.
Malone joins the hotel with a strong background in sales, marketing, and event strategy, having held Director of Sales & Marketing roles with leading hotel brands including Hilton, Radisson, and Omni. Throughout his career, he has led high-performing sales and catering teams, managed key client relationships, negotiated global meeting contracts, and overseen the development and execution of annual sales and marketing plans and budgets.
A native Texan, Malone has spent the majority of his life in San Antonio and brings a deep understanding of the local market. In his new role, he will oversee all sales and events operations, focusing on driving revenue growth, strengthening client partnerships, and elevating the hotel’s meetings and events offerings.
