The two other launches are interesting but maybe have a bit more niche appeal in their own way, yet have a wider total release with 1,450 pieces each. The Seiko Presage draws inspiration from a variation of the Timekeeper, the first watch by Seiko’s founder, Kintaro Hattori, with an onion crown, knurled bezel, and, in this case, a gold-toned stainless steel case with movable lugs fitted to a leather strap.
The dial is enamel, a nice touch, and the watch measures a diminutive 35mm by 12mm, retailing for $1,900. For something bolder, the Astron should do the trick. At 44.1mm by 14.4mm, it’s the biggest of the bunch, with the most complex movement, featuring solar charging, radio control, a perpetual calendar, chronograph, dual time, and more. If the case catches your eye, it’s probably because of the two-tone black-and-gold titanium case and bracelet with a black, super-hard coating. The price is $3,300, and you can find more specifications for both on the Seiko website.
