It’s the kind of landing you never forget — turquoise waves rolling against Maho Beach, the mountains of St. Maarten in the distance, and the thrill of touching down at one of the Caribbean’s most iconic airports. Soon, getting here will be even easier.
Starting Dec. 4, 2025, JetBlue is adding nonstop service between Fort Lauderdale and St. Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport. The new route will operate four times a week, year-round, marking the return of St. Maarten to JetBlue’s Fort Lauderdale map.
Why It Matters
For South Florida travelers, the route means faster, more convenient access to an island that blends two distinct cultures — Dutch and French — into one irresistible Caribbean escape. For the island of St. Maarten, it means more travelers discovering everything from the beach clubs of Orient Bay to the fine dining of Grand Case, from the sailing waters of Simpson Bay to the unforgettable sunsets at Cupecoy.
More Growth in St Maarten
As we’ve reported, St Maarten has been seeing a tourism surge. That includes a number of new flights coming to its newly-transformed arrivals terminal, including expanded service on JetBlue from Boston to St Maarten.
The JetBlue Edge
JetBlue is no stranger to the Caribbean. With its Mint service, award-winning onboard experience, and wide-reaching network, the airline has become a favorite for travelers heading south. The addition of Fort Lauderdale–St. Maarten deepens that connection and strengthens JetBlue’s position as one of the Caribbean’s leading carriers.
An Island Like No Other
St. Maarten is more than a beach destination. It’s a place where European sophistication meets Caribbean soul — where you can spend the morning in a French café, the afternoon on a Dutch beach, and the evening sailing into a sunset. For food lovers, adventurers, and beachgoers, this is an island that never stops surprising.
