Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is pleased to announce the appointment of Jared Bailey as General Manager of the newly renovated Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore. With more than 15 years of proven leadership experience in hospitality management and hotel asset performance, Bailey now oversees all operations, guest experiences, and strategic initiatives as the property embarks on a new era of elevated service and style.
Bailey joins Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore following an accomplished career leading high-performing hotel teams and transforming underperforming assets into market leaders. Most recently, he served as Director of Asset Management for BC Lynd Hospitality, Inc., where he oversaw operational and financial performance across multiple Marriott-branded select service hotels and successfully improved profitability and efficiency across the portfolio. Previously, Bailey held General Manager roles with St. Anthony Luxury Collection Hotel in San Antonio and Hilton Garden Inn in Sugar Land, TX, where he led large-scale renovations, increased guest satisfaction scores, and achieved significant gains in RevPAR and revenue performance.
Hotel Monaco Baltimore: A New Era of Sophisticated Charm
The appointment of Bailey coincides with an exciting multi-phase renovation at Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore, located in the heart of downtown within the historic former B&O Railroad Headquarters building.
The first phase of the renovation, now complete, introduced a comprehensive redesign of the hotel’s public spaces, meeting rooms, and guest rooms, blending Kimpton’s signature bold style with the building’s timeless Beaux-Arts architecture. The transformation includes refreshed interiors, modernized amenities, and enhanced functionality across all event and accommodation spaces.
The second phase, scheduled for completion next year, will further elevate the guest dining experience at B&O American Brasserie.
