In my original review of the Ninja Crispi air fryer, I touted it as a fantastic alternative to black plastic appliances. I also praised its “Recrisp” setting, which made my leftovers taste better than ever. Five months later, I’m happy to report that this all still rings true. I pull the nifty glass basket air fryer out several times a week to make rice for crispy rice salads, revive takeout Brussels sprouts, and more. While I have no complaints about the blue-gray “cyberspace” color I own, I couldn’t help but notice that Ninja just dropped the machine in three new limited-edition colors, which are arguably prettier than the originals.
Now available for the first time in cherry crush, ginger snap, and frosted lilac, the Ninja Crispi won’t just air-fry your food to perfection, but it’ll look gorgeous on your countertop while doing it. (You can still snag all three original colors — sage green, stone and cyberspace — on sale at Amazon and on Ninja’s site.)

If you’re not yet familiar with this clever Ninja air fryer, let me catch you up. Rather than your standard air fryer, it consists of a square glass basket (not unlike a Pyrex baking dish), a crisper plate that rests inside, and a 1500-watt power pod that sits on top and does the actual air-frying work. The system comes with two glass baskets — a 4-quart and a 6-quart — with crisper plates for each, plus lids so any leftovers can go straight into the fridge without dirtying a food storage container. Best of all, once I’m done cooking, the glass basket and crisper plate go straight in the dishwasher — a huge improvement over a regular air fryer.

“Recrisp” mode truly does bring food back to life; I never thought leftover pizza could be anything other than a soggy, floppy mess, but I’ve been proven wrong. Recently, I’ve been enjoying a combination of “Bake” and “Air Fry” for making crispy rice and garlic broccoli, and these modes still make the perfect crispy chickpeas I mentioned in my initial Ninja Crispi review. “Max Crisp” is my least-used setting because, as its name suggests, it gets food incredibly crispy on the inside and out, whereas I prefer my ingredients to remain soft on the inside. It’d come in handy for making croutons or other crunchy snacks, though.

The Ninja Crispi’s footprint is roughly 13.4 x 12 x 13.6 inches, so you may have enough room to permanently store it on your kitchen counter. With the three new pastel shades, you have all the more reason to keep it on display. If this recent color drop is anything like the initial Crispi release, stock won’t last long — I wouldn’t be surprised if it sold out multiple times yet again. Head to Amazon now to grab this game-changing air fryer in cherry crush, ginger snap, and frosted lilac. Or, if you’re hunting for a deal, snag it on sale in one of the original colors right now.
