Ninja NeverStick 16-Piece Cookware Set
Amazon
The Ninja NeverStick 10-piece set was one of our favorite nonstick cookware sets in testing, thanks to its durable hard-anodized coating, which can hold up to the dishwasher and even metal utensils. This version features the exact same construction, but with an extra skillet, extra saucepan, and extra (extra-large) stockpot.
All-Clad D3 7-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set
Food & Wine
All-Clad cookware might not be cheap, but many of the brand’s products have performed exceptionally well in our testing. D3 is All-Clad’s stainless steel cookware line, with gorgeous, shiny pots and pans that can handle up to 600°F. They produced beautiful browning and searing, and we can’t recommend them enough — especially when they’re on sale.

Tramontina All-in-One Plus Pan Set
Amazon
We can’t stop singing the praises of Tramontina’s All-in-One Pan Set. One of our editors tested and reviewed this compact, versatile piece of non-toxic cookware, and it ended up replacing half their cookware. Similar to Our Place’s Always Pan, it’s an oven-safe ceramic nonstick skillet, but it’s deep enough to use for simmering a soup or boiling some noodles. The included steamer insert makes it even more versatile, and it even comes with a wooden spoon and a wooden trivet for bringing it straight from stove to table.

This oval bakeware set is oven-safe up to 600°F, and it’s perfect for smaller dishes like sides, desserts, or even single-serving recipes. According to one shopper, your only regret will be not buying them sooner

Best October Amazon Prime Day Deals on Cast Iron Skillets and Dutch Ovens
With its requirements for careful cleaning and occasional reseasoning, cast iron can sometimes intimidate cooks. But it’s what basically all pots and pans were made of for hundreds of years for good reason: The heavy material is amazing at holding heat and can last forever. For October Prime Day, many of our favorite cast iron skillets are on sale, along with enameled cast iron pieces that are a breeze to care for.

Lodge 12-Inch Cast Iron Skillet
Amazon
This legendary Lodge was always our favorite, until it got dethroned in our latest round of cast iron skillet testing in favor of this pan from an upstart brand called Lancaster. The Lancaster version of the classic skillet is a little lighter and more maneuverable than most, which is why it edged out the competition, but Lodge still comes in a very close second. Plus, there’s no denying that Lodge’s tried-and-true pan is always a great value.
Le Creuset 5.5-Quart Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
Amazon
There may be no more iconic piece of cookware than Le Creuset’s Dutch oven, especially in this signature cerise color. It’s pretty much indestructible, able to withstand the dishwasher, broiler, grill, or even a campfire. (And if the slick enamel ever does crack, Le Creuset offers a lifetime warranty.)
