Antigua and Barbuda’s Art Week Has Culture, Fashion, and Island Spirit

Antigua and Barbuda is getting ready to paint the islands in vibrant shades of creativity. From Nov. 26 to Dec. 2, 2025, the destination’s annual Art Week returns under the theme Culture in Color, presenting a spirited week-long festival of visual art, fashion, music, spoken word, dance and cultural immersion.

Presented by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority in partnership with the Department of Culture, this year’s edition is set to be the most immersive yet, blending traditional artforms with contemporary innovation to shine a light on the nation’s cultural identity.

“Art Week is an invitation to immerse yourself in the creativity, culture, and stories that make our twin-islands unique,” said Colin C. James, CEO of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority. “Beyond our 365 beaches, Art Week places on show the creative side of Antigua and Barbuda, and we look forward to sharing that with everyone who joins us.”

Art Across the Islands

From the historic charm of Redcliffe Quay to the busy arrival halls of V.C. Bird International Airport, Art Week will activate spaces across Antigua and Barbuda with exhibitions, live performances and community-driven experiences.

The festival officially opens Nov. 26 with a spectacular Opening Night at Redcliffe Quay, featuring live art demonstrations, musical showcases and “art under the stars.” The next day, the Dr. Alister Francis Campus will unveil its Visual Arts Exhibition, spotlighting works by acclaimed Antiguan artist Mark Brown alongside emerging talents from the Fine Arts and Creative Industries programs.

Sustainability also takes center stage with a Sustainable Art Workshop hosted by Good Humans 268 Inc., inviting participants to explore eco-friendly materials and creative reuse.

Throughout the week, the Art Talk series will bring together leading Caribbean cultural practitioners to explore “The Future of Caribbean Creativity,” reflecting the evolving landscape of the region’s artistic industries.

Fashion, Travel and Community

Fashion takes the spotlight Nov. 30 with the much-anticipated ZOIGE Fashion Show and Exhibit, led by Antigua and Barbuda designer Garrett Javan, promising bold new aesthetics and interactive runway moments.

Travelers and residents can also join Art and Culture Bus Tours (Nov. 28–29), curated journeys through Antigua’s most scenic corners to discover galleries, artisan spaces and hidden creative enclaves.

“We are incredibly excited about how Antigua and Barbuda Art Week continues to evolve, with community engagement at its core and our local artists firmly in the spotlight,” said Maria Blackman, Art Week Lead and Marketing Communications Manager at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority.

Highlights and Experiences

The week is packed with cultural moments, from elegant gallery openings to relaxed sip-and-paint evenings.
