Stephen Wright appointed Hotel Manager of Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort and Sheraton Denarau Villas

Marriott International has announced the appointment of Stephen Wright as Hotel Manager of Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort and Sheraton Denarau Villas.

Wright brings more than 20 years of international hospitality experience across Asia, Europe, Australia and the Middle East, with a strong background in hotel operations and food and beverage leadership. Throughout his career, he has held senior operational roles across several internationally recognised hospitality brands and destinations, such as Executive Chef roles at JW Marriott Medan, The Star Sydney, Shangri La Rasa Ria and Marriott Marquis City Center Doha. He later moved into Corporate Director of Food & Beverage – Culinary (Middle East & Africa) at Marriott International, overseeing the development of culinary strategies, revenue growth and operational consistency across the Marriott International portfolio in the region. 

He most recently served as Executive Assistant Manager, Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera Hotel, Vietnam, a position he held from October 2022. His achievements include recognition as Marriott Vietnam 2023 Excom of the Year Runner Up, Marriott ACE Awards Executive Chef of the Year 2016 and Hotelier Middle East Executive Chef of the Year 2016.

In his new role, Wright will oversee hotel operations across Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort and Sheraton Denarau Villas, supporting the continued delivery of premium guest experiences and operational excellence across the properties.
