Lenny Kravitz Is Headlining a Nassau Festival With World-Class Chefs, Caribbean Art, and Global Flavors

When The Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival returns to Nassau’s Baha Mar this fall, it will do so with a headliner who embodies the spirit of the islands: four-time Grammy Award–winner and Bahamian rock legend Lenny Kravitz, whose love for The Bahamas is boundless.

His performance will anchor the Oct. 22–26 festival, setting the tone for five days of food, art, and culture at one of the Caribbean’s leading luxury resort destinations.

The festival blends culinary excellence, artistic innovation, and live performance into one unforgettable experience. Guests will not only see Kravitz take the stage, but also explore an extraordinary lineup of tastings, intimate dinners, master classes, and exhibitions — all unfolding across Baha Mar’s oceanfront setting on Cable Beach.

FUZE: A Growing Platform for Caribbean Art

Now in its third year, FUZE Caribbean Art Fair has become a vital platform for artists across the region. More than 120 artists and galleries representing 21 countries will be featured this October, highlighting work that pushes boundaries and challenges narratives.

This year’s lineup includes acclaimed names like Malene Barnett, founder of the Black Artists + Designers Guide; Guggenheim Fellow Lavar Munroe; climate and memory-focused professor Deborah Jack; and Janine Antoni, whose works are housed in MoMA. South African photographer Justin Dingwall, winner of the 2024 SCOPE Miami x FUZE Residency Prize, will also present striking works deeply rooted in Afro-Caribbean identity.

“FUZE has evolved into a powerful platform, connecting Caribbean artists with fair attendees from around the world,” said John Cox, Executive Director of Arts & Culture at Baha Mar. “This year’s collection brings together a powerful and diverse range of voices, reinforcing the fair’s mission to celebrate fresh perspectives and groundbreaking work shaping the future of art in our region.”

A Culinary Stage Unlike Any Other

Alongside the art and music, the culinary program is just as ambitious. Baha Mar will welcome an impressive roster of chefs including Marcus Samuelsson (Baha Mar Fish + Chop House), Daniel Boulud (Café Boulud, The Bahamas), Dario Cecchini (Carna), and Scott Conant (Leola). Food Network stars Amanda Freitag, Carla Hall, Maneet Chauhan, and Geoffrey Zakarian will join them, alongside Bahamian chef Simeon Hall Jr. Together, they’ll lead interactive demonstrations, exclusive tastings, and intimate dinners designed to showcase global flavors with a distinctly Bahamian spirit.

From Lenny Kravitz’s homecoming performance to the vibrant art of FUZE and the flavors of a world-class culinary lineup, this year’s Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival will once again prove why Baha Mar is the ultimate Caribbean stage for culture.
