Introducing: Audemars Piguet Expands The Royal Oak Mini Collection With Two New Stone Dial Quartz Models

Launched in 2024, the Royal Oak Mini was a welcome nod and a hat tip to the teeny-tiny Oaks of the past, most notably the Mini Royal Oak (ref. 67075) from 1997, still the smallest Royal Oak ever made at just 20 millimeters in diameter. Like the OG ’90s Mini, the newer models used high-end quartz-powered movements but updated the case finishing with a sparkly and textured treatment the Le Brassus-based brand called ‘frosted’ (first utilized in jewelry designer Carolina Bucci’s Royal Oak LE in 2016) in a slightly bigger but still dainty 23 millimeter case.

Now we have two more Royal Oak Minis in the collection, still sized at just 23 millimeters and still powered by the highly finished quartz calibre 2730. But these little Oaks eschew the ‘frosted’ touch on the case for the more traditional Royal Oak treatment with polished and satin-brushed surfaces. That’s to better appreciate the stone dials of the new models, one in inky, mirror-polished black onyx, the other, a hyper-white mother-of-pearl.
