The top layer, the main dial, is executed in an ultra-glossy polished black surface with a varnished and lacquered finish. At the same time, cutouts for the three subdials reveal that the bottom layer is also glossy, but in that contrasting lacquered white finish. Each dial layer gets printed markers and numerals in the inverted color, with the main minute track and text printed in white, and the registers getting numerals and indices in black. The handset and applied markers match the main case metal of each variant, while the applied Omega logo hints at the sapphire-sandwich configuration of these new Moonwatches – sapphire crystals on the front and the back, rather than hesalite.
