The 7 Best New Costco Finds This December

Costco keeps grocery shopping exciting by regularly restocking sold-out favorites and introducing new or limited-time products that customers can’t wait to try. This constant shift in its inventory makes going to the bulk retailer feel almost like a treasure hunt, with Costco members hoping to find the best new snacks, premade meals, baked goods, and more.

Every visit to a Costco store brings the hope of discovering a new favorite food that will stick around. In November, members nationwide were excited about the Kirkland Signature Lobster Mac & Cheese — a rich dish perfect for cozying up in cold weather — and earlier this year, Costco’s latest food court addition, the Combo Calzone, was the talk of the town.

This December, fans have already spotted several noteworthy food gems — including new and returning items — popping up in stores. Based on shopper reviews and member sightings, we’ve rounded up seven new Costco finds you need to try next.

Via Emilia Dubai Style Chocolate Gelato Bomb

If you haven’t gotten your fill of Dubai chocolate this year, Costco is coming to the rescue. Since arriving in stores at the end of November, fans have quickly gone wild for the decadent layers in this dessert. A core of pistachio cream is surrounded by pistachio gelato and chocolate gelato, then the entire confection is coated in crispy, golden kadayif and a pistachio crumble.

Grilled Cheese Tomato Soup

Enjoying the classic combo of a grilled cheese with tomato soup just got even easier. This Grilled Cheese Tomato Soup features ready-to-heat tomato soup topped with cheddar and crunchy croutons, so you get a melty, crispy, and tangy mixture of textures and flavors all in one bowl.

You can heat the soup in the microwave (or oven, if desired), making it easy to enjoy the comforting meal whenever you’d like. To add to the list of reasons you should snag this product, it comes with six servings per package — hello, easy meal prep — and each serving happens to have 12 grams of protein.

Kirkland Signature Triple Chocolate Loaf

As its name implies, Costco’s new Triple Chocolate Loaf is more than doubling down on the chocolate. The bakery creation is made with cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and chocolate Danish icing, then topped with white chocolate curls. Suffice it to say this will please anyone with a serious sweet tooth. The fudgy loaf yields about 12 slices and would be an excellent dessert option for a casual dinner party, or for intense chocolate lovers, perhaps even breakfast.

Gooey Cinnamon Rolls

Perfect pans of Gooey Cinnamon Rolls have returned to Costco’s bakery just in time for Christmas morning — or any chilly weekend when you’re in need of a warm baked good. In addition to a generous layer of cream cheese icing on top, these cinnamon-infused treats are sweetened with brown sugar and honey.

You do need to heat the rolls in the oven in order to warm them throughout and develop the gooey center that earns their title. The cinnamon rolls are reported to already be low in stock at some Costco locations, so make sure to grab yours before you have to wait another year.

Kirkland Signature Peppermint Bark

Dark chocolate, white chocolate, and crushed peppermint candy canes team up to make this classic holiday candy. The cost for the Kirkland Signature Peppermint Bark is a little bit steeper than you might expect from Costco, coming in at around $17 depending on the location, but you’ll get 24 big pieces of peppermint bark for the price. Put this out at any party, and the bark will be gone before you know it.

Kirkland Signature Holiday Cookie Tray

Unsurprisingly, Costco delivered what it’s most known for — bulk sizes — with this massive tray of 60 cookies. The Kirkland Signature Holiday Cookie Tray features five different cookie flavors: Chocolate Chunk, Red Velvet, Butter Pecan, Toffee Sandie, and Coconut Almond Chocolate.

You’ll find 12 cookies in each flavor on the platter, and at $24.99 total, that’s less than 50 cents per treat. Snag one of these for any office or school parties that pop up this season to keep your month stress-free.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge

If it’s not obvious, this month is all about desserts at Costco. While walking through the bakery department, make sure you grab a box of this Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge for sweet holiday snacking. The classic confection comes with an entire pound of fudge per box, and this would be a great last-minute item to pick up if you’re heading to a potluck.
