American Airlines has relaunched service to Montego Bay, Jamaica, Caribbean Journal has learned.
The airline will be operating one daily roundtrip flight between Miami and Mobay, at least for the immediate future, according to AA.
That flight will depart at 1:20 local time in the afternoon and depart from Sangster International Airport at 4:29 PM local time in Jamaica.
The airport reopened for limited commercial flights this past Saturday.
American said it would continue to operate multiple daily flights to and from both Kingston and Ian Fleming Airport in Ocho Rios.
That includes both regularly scheduled flights and extra flights from Miami, Charlotte and Fort Worth, Texas “as operations allow.”
American said it would also be waiving bag fees through Nov. 9 on flights to Montego Bay, Kingston and Ocho Rios.
Other carriers already relaunching flights include Spirit and JetBlue.
Miami-Montego Bay fares on American Airlines are about $316 roundtrip, according to numbers from Google Flights software.
