Bahamasair has officially launched its new direct flight service between Nassau and Great Harbour Cay in the Berry Islands.
The inaugural service took place on Tuesday, October 7, with a soft launch flight departing Nassau at 1:00 p.m. and returning from Great Harbour Cay in the early afternoon.
The new route will operate weekly on Tuesdays, with the outbound flight from Nassau scheduled for 1:00 p.m. and the return flight departing Great Harbour Cay at 2:00 p.m.

The launch event included a press conference and ceremonial welcome, attended by officials from the Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, Bahamasair and Royal Caribbean Cruises.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Kenneth Romer, MOTIA Director of Aviation and Deputy Director General of Tourism, delivered remarks highlighting the significance of the new air service in supporting increased connectivity and tourism growth for the Berry Islands.
The new Bahamasair service is expected to make Great Harbour Cay more accessible to both domestic and international travelers, further positioning the Berry Islands as a standout Out Islands destination.
