Hyatt Is Opening a New All-Inclusive Grand Hyatt in Los Cabos With Swim-Out Suites, a Golf Course, and 10 Dining Concepts

A new all-inclusive Grand Hyatt is about to join the fast-growing luxury resort scene in Los Cabos, giving travelers another major option on one of Mexico’s most popular coastlines.

Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa will debut early next year (at least according to the hotel’s website) inside the Oleada Pacific Living & Golf oceanfront community near Cabo San Lucas, bringing together more than 300 guestrooms, a championship golf course, a large spa, multiple pools and an extensive food-and-beverage program.

It’s one of two major all-inclusives coming to Mexico for Hyatt in the next year, along with a property we’re even more excited about — the Park Hyatt in the Riviera Maya.

The opening adds another significant luxury all-inclusive to a destination that continues to attract travelers looking for high-end beach vacations with easy airlift from cities across the United States and Canada.

A New Grand Hyatt for Los Cabos

The new resort will have 301 accommodations, including 244 guestrooms and 57 suites.

Among them are 42 swim-out rooms, along with one-bedroom suites and a 4,602-square-foot Presidential Suite. Many of the accommodations will include bathtubs, plunge pools or private pools, while every room is planned with private balconies, marble bathrooms and contemporary Baja-inspired interiors.

The property is being developed as an all-inclusive resort, combining Grand Hyatt’s full-service resort approach with the convenience of bundled dining, drinks and activities.

A Resort Built for Long Beach Days

The beachfront resort is designed with multiple ways to spend the day by the water.

Plans call for several ocean-view swimming pools, including an adults-only pool, family-friendly infinity pools, a beachfront family pool and a dedicated splash park for children.

Beyond the pools, guests will have direct beachfront access, along with a fitness center, kids club, teen club and pickleball courts.

Golf travelers will find one of the property’s signature attractions: an 18-hole Ernie Els-designed championship golf course, adding another high-profile course to Los Cabos’ already impressive golf collection.

Ten Places to Eat and Drink

Dining is expected to become one of the defining features of the new resort.

Grand Hyatt Los Cabos will include five à la carte restaurants and five distinct bar concepts, giving guests a broad mix of options throughout their stay.

The lineup will include a beachfront restaurant, rooftop cocktail venue, pool bars, a market café, a steakhouse, Italian restaurant, pan-Asian restaurant and an intimate speakeasy.

The goal is to give guests different experiences throughout the day, from casual lunches overlooking the ocean to late-night cocktails after dinner.

A Large Wellness Center Inspired by Baja

The spa is another major component of the project.

The resort plans include 12 private treatment cabins, hydrotherapy facilities, steam rooms, saunas and wellness experiences influenced by the traditions and natural landscapes of the Baja California Peninsula.

One highlight will be a traditional temazcal, the Indigenous sweat lodge ceremony that has become one of Mexico’s signature wellness experiences.

Designed for Weddings, Meetings, and Celebrations

While the resort is expected to appeal strongly to leisure travelers, Hyatt is also positioning it as a destination for meetings and celebrations.

The property will include more than 20,000 square feet of indoor meeting and event space, along with outdoor garden venues overlooking the coast.

That combination is expected to make the resort attractive for destination weddings, corporate meetings and incentive travel groups seeking an all-inclusive beachfront venue near Cabo San Lucas.

Another Luxury Addition for Hyatt in Mexico

The opening continues Hyatt’s rapid luxury expansion across Mexico.

The company recently added Park Hyatt Los Cabos at Cabo del Sol to its portfolio and also opened Alila Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya.

The arrival of Grand Hyatt Los Cabos Resort, Golf & Spa gives the company another flagship property in one of Mexico’s strongest-performing leisure destinations.

Getting to Los Cabos

The resort is just minutes from Cabo San Lucas, making it convenient for travelers arriving through Los Cabos International Airport, which offers nonstop service from dozens of gateways across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Once open later this year, the new Grand Hyatt will give visitors another luxury all-inclusive option with championship golf, extensive wellness facilities, multiple pool experiences and one of the largest collections of restaurants and bars at a new resort in Los Cabos.
