Hotel Jackson, the family-owned, Michelin Key recognized luxury boutique hotel anchoring the historic Jackson Town Square, introduces The Retreat at Hotel Jackson, an expansive new all-suite offering and a showstopping 7,000 sq. ft. foot state-of-the-art spa and wellness center, designed by TrueExCullins. Later this year, the property will also unveil The Retreat’s rooftop restaurant and lounge, along with a new signature restaurant, both helmed by Executive Chef Malyna Si, renowned as being the first woman to earn and hold a Michelin Star in Florida.
Conceived as an evolution of the original property through a lens of modern luxury, The Retreat provides a fresh new perspective on Western luxury in the heart of Jackson’s now iconic Town Square. While physically connected to the original Hotel Jackson, The Retreat is a destination in its own right, one that carries forward the spirit of craftsmanship and regional authenticity, while elevating the design language with a heightened sense of privacy and scale.
This new three-story building caddy-corner to Downtown Jackson’s Town Square, features nine additional keys with distinctive suite types: the Teewinot Suites, or junior suite equivalent; Taggert and Bradley suites, spacious one-and-two bedroom offerings; and, the Grand Presidential Suite, an expansive three bedroom, 2,100 sq. ft. suite.
The new suites, each featuring separate living spaces and gas fireplaces, are oriented to capture the natural beauty of their surroundings – either eastward toward Crystal Butte and the sunrise or southward overlooking Town Square with Snow King Mountain as a dramatic backdrop. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows frame unobstructed vistas, flooding each space with natural light, while private outdoor patios and bespoke furnishings enhance the sense of comfort, quality and connection to place.
Throughout, the design continues the tradition of detailed luxury established by Hotel Jackson, with every element thoughtfully crafted to evoke a deep sense of place and purpose. Custom Axminster carpets, inspired by Native American textiles, extend through the new elevators, lobbies, and guest corridors, guiding guests with a visual narrative rooted in regional art and culture.
Also opening today, The Spa & Wellness Center at Hotel Jackson marks downtown Jackson Hole’s only destination spa, with seven treatment rooms, a rooftop infinity hot tub, a full wellness program including workout classes and sports medicine services, along with a stunning art collection. Spa offerings range from a comprehensive treatment menu featuring Natura Bissé as the signature product. Treatments include Alpine Aromatherapy Massage, CBD Massage, Zero Gravity Lifting Facial, Hydrafacials and facial peel add-ons, to name a few. The full treatment list and pricing can be found online at hoteljackson.com/spa.
The interior design concept embraces and celebrates this subterranean location, introducing a refined design language and materiality that intentionally contrasts with the contemporary Western aesthetic of the hotel and the new guest suites. The bustle of Jackson’s Town Square and the vibrant environment of the hotel give way to a quiet, serene alpine environment below – light in tone, contemplative in mood, and inspired by the layered strata of the earth. As guests descend from street level into the Spa, there is a perceptible shift in atmosphere, signaling a transition into a world dedicated to restoration and well-being.
“This has been a years-long labor of love, and we are thrilled to finally unveil these incredible new offerings to our guests,” said Sadek Darwiche, President of Hotel Jackson. “Our goal has always been to provide an intimate, unparalleled guest experience, and we believe The Retreat and The Spa are set to transform the landscape of Jackson Hole.”
