Emporium Hotel South Bank has announced the appointment of Julia Wardle as Director of Sales and Marketing as the multi-award-winning luxury boutique hotel in South Brisbane embarks on an enhanced era of sustainable growth and innovation across domestic and international platforms.

Julia has extensive experience across luxury hospitality, commercial strategy and brand leadership at Emporium Hotels and, most recently, Minor Hotels, where she led a national and international sales portfolio in key leisure, wholesale and global markets.

Her impressive hospitality background includes previous roles at Emporium Hotel, where she commenced as a Guest Service Agent before rising to Business Development Manager.

Julia returns to Emporium Hotel South Bank in a senior leadership capacity, overseeing brand strategy, sales performance, partnerships and positioning and focusing on strategic collaboration and strengthening meaningful relationships across tourism, corporate and lifestyle sectors for one of Brisbane’s most distinctive luxury hotel destinations.

With a career that began in front-of-house operations and progressed through business development, national sales leadership and international market management, she brings a rare combination of hands-on hospitality expertise and executive-level commercial acumen to the role.
