The firsts for Habring² are the use of a single 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock and a new case with a flat, single-step bezel and a domed box crystal on the 38.5mm by 11.2mm case (8.75mm not counting the sapphire). By minimizing the branding on the dial, the collaboration evokes unsigned vintage chronographs that frequently pop up on the market.
The watch uses the Habring² A11C-H0 caliber, a manually wound 4Hz monopusher that is visible through the display caseback. While not featuring the level of finishing you see in watches 10x the price, the value of the finishing is quite good here, as it’s hand-done with polished edges, perlage, and steel chronograph components finished by the independent watchmaker Pöhlmann-Bresan.
