In this role, Shane will oversee all operational aspects of the property, including guest services, team leadership, strategic planning, and brand development. His appointment ushers in an exciting new chapter for the hotel as it continues to strengthen its position as a premier destination in Boston’s luxury hospitality market.
McWeeny brings more than 25 years of hospitality leadership experience across luxury, lifestyle, and large-scale urban hotels. He most recently served as General Manager at Hotel Commonwealth and has held senior leadership roles at Boston Park Plaza, The Lenox Hotel, The Beverly Hills Hotel (Dorchester Collection), The Ritz-Carlton Boston Common, Hyatt, and other highly regarded independent properties. A proud UMass Amherst alumnus, McWeeny is known for building high-performing teams, maintaining rigorous operational standards, and delivering consistently exceptional guest experiences.
