The Masterlink Perpetual Calendar measures 40mm across and from top to bottom, with the brand’s signature “smile” cutout at 6 o’clock. It plays well with the oversized moonphase and date display (the movement also features the month, day, and leap-year indication). The case, with its integrated bracelet, has darkblast, brushed, and polished finishes, and measures 10mm thick (with corrector pushers on the sides of the case). The movement has a 50-hour power reserve and runs at 3 Hz, but the best part is the offset microrotor.
The watch comes with two dial options: an anthracite grey dial with a two-level construction and vertical sunburst finishing with degradé colour, or an open-worked sapphire dial. If you spend a lot of time in Geneva, you might recognize the city’s outline on the caseback—the mainplate and bridges are shaped, arranged, and finished to reflect the brand’s home city’s geography.
