Royal Caribbean is bringing one of television’s biggest entertainment franchises to the high seas.
The cruise line has announced that “America’s Got Talent LIVE” will debut onboard the new ship Legend of the Seas beginning in August 2026, marking the first time the globally popular talent show will headline a stage production at sea.
The show will take place inside the ship’s Royal Theater, featuring a rotating lineup of performers from the Got Talent universe, including magicians, musicians, aerialists and acrobats.
It’s part of a broader push by Royal Caribbean to turn its newest ships into floating entertainment hubs — and the new production is expected to be one of the signature attractions onboard.
A New Kind of Cruise Show
Royal Caribbean says the production will be a live extension of the television franchise, bringing a fast-paced lineup of acts similar to what viewers see on the global “Got Talent” stage.
“At Royal Caribbean, we are constantly redefining live entertainment at every turn — bringing jaw-dropping performances to life across stage, air, water and ice — and America’s Got Talent LIVE on Legend of the Seas is the perfect expression of that vision,” said Christine Coachman, vice president of entertainment for Royal Caribbean.
The show will feature a mix of performers from the Got Talent franchise, which spans dozens of international versions of the television series.
The production is being created in partnership with Fremantle, the company behind the global entertainment brand.
“We’re thrilled to bring Got Talent to an all-new at-sea experience as we set sail with Royal Caribbean,” said Erica Gadecki, executive vice president of partnership solutions at Fremantle. “We can’t wait to showcase incredible acts on a brand-new stage onboard.”
A Ship Built Around Entertainment
Entertainment is becoming one of the defining features of Royal Caribbean’s newest ships.
Across the fleet, the cruise line already stages Broadway-style productions, high-diving shows in the AquaTheater, large-scale ice skating performances and immersive live music venues.
On Legend of the Seas, those experiences will expand even further.
Guests will see aerialists, robots, dancers and high divers performing in the AquaTheater, along with large-scale ice shows inside Absolute Zero, the cruise line’s largest ice arena at sea.
The ship will also feature more than 20 bars, lounges and live music venues, including Lou’s jazz club, Dueling Pianos, and themed dining concepts like Hollywoodland Supper Club and Royal Railway – Legend Station.
Royal Caribbean is also planning a stage production based on Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
Caribbean Sailings Begin in 2026
The ship will make its Caribbean debut in November 2026, sailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Those itineraries will include 6-night Western Caribbean and 8-night Southern Caribbean cruises, with stops across the region including Aruba and Curaçao.
Caribbean sailings will also visit Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, Royal Caribbean’s private island destination that has become one of the line’s most popular stops.
With a major new show tied to one of the world’s biggest television franchises, Royal Caribbean is doubling down on entertainment as a centerpiece of the cruise experience.
And beginning in 2026, passengers will be able to watch “America’s Got Talent” live — while sailing through the Caribbean.
