Amid accelerated digital transformation, rising cost pressure and increasing guest expectations, the company positions its latest PMS innovations as a response to the industry’s most pressing challenges.
For the 20th time, SIHOT is exhibiting at ITB in Berlin. For the owner-managed provider of hotel management software, this year’s participation marks a milestone that reflects both continuity and strategic evolution. In this anniversary year, the company is showcasing the latest advancements in its Property Management System (PMS), designed to meet the changing demands of modern hotel operations.
For over 40 years, SIHOT has been developing software solutions for the hospitality industry. At ITB Berlin, the focus is on the Digital Guest Journey. At the heart of this is one key question: How can operational efficiency and guest experience be intelligently connected? The cloud-based, API-open platform links processes across the entire guest journey – from booking and stay to post-visit messaging – creating the foundation for personalised services, transparent workflows and more economically efficient operating structures.
Carsten Wernet, CEO of the SIHOT Group, explains: “The hospitality industry is facing profound transformation. Today, technology must not only be powerful, but also flexible, reliable and economically profitable. Our conversations with hoteliers show that digitalisation is no longer treated as a
standalone initiative. What matters is how effectively processes can be connected along the guest journey. Technology must integrate seamlessly, remain stable in daily operations and deliver sustainable business value.”
As an owner-managed provider, SIHOT places strong emphasis on direct customer dialogue and hands-on support. Against the backdrop of increasing process complexity and ongoing staff shortages, the close alignment between system performance and practical application is becoming ever more important.
ITB Berlin provides the ideal platform for exchange. As a global meeting point for decision-makers, technology providers and hospitality innovators, it has long been a key driver of digital progress in hospitality and tourism. For SIHOT, the trade fair is more than a showcase – it is a platform for dialogue, a trend barometer and an innovation lab all in one. This is where conversations take shape around system integration, automation, API strategies, data security and economic efficiency: topics that are equally relevant for hotel groups and independent properties alike.
In the current year, SIHOT is focusing on expanding automation, integration capabilities and transparency within hotel operations. At the same time, insights gained from discussions at ITB are fed directly into the development of new, practice-oriented solutions.
ITB Berlin is one of the world’s leading B2B trade fairs for the tourism and hospitality industry and is regarded as a central stage for market trends, innovation and strategic partnerships. The SIHOT Group will be exhibiting in Hall 8.1, Stand 150.
