Vintage Longines Admiral
Leading off this week we have a stylish vintage Longines dress watch. The 35mm yellow gold filled case is a classic round style with simple, straight lugs and a steel back. The case is unpolished, with nice crisp edges. The silver dial looks fantastic, with slim arrow markers and no pesky date window and sword style hands. The original crown is signed with the Longines winged hourglass logo as it should. The watch comes on the original Milanese mesh bracelet with a signed buckle. Very elegant and classy look overall. The watch comes with the inner and outer boxes as well as the instruction and warranty booklets. The case is a front-loading type and there are no pictures of the movement, however the watch runs well per the seller.
Vintage Omega Geneve Dynamic
Next up is a wild and unique vintage Omega Geneve Dynamic. This watch is about as pure 1970s funk as it gets! The 41mm wide horizontal oval case is superb and unpolished, with sharp edges and the original brushed finish. The crazy original strap doesn’t attach to lugs, instead it has a big hole in the middle that sits up against the case and is held on by the retaining ring on the back. This example has the original cream colored strap and Omega signed buckle. The dial has a killer bullseye design with a dark blue center, a grey ring around that and a dark blue outer ring. The baton style hands are painted white to stand out, and the sweep second hand is bright orange. Overall just a wild look that isn’t for everyone, but if you do like it this is a fantastic example. The correct crown is signed with the Omega logo as it should. No movement pictures, but runs well per the seller.
Vintage Working Sandoz Diver
The wildness continues with this amazing vintage Sandoz diver. The 36mm blocky steel case is in fantastic condition, looking almost New Old Stock. The edges are sharp, with the original mix of brushed and polished finish, as well as the bulk of the original caseback wax protectant coating intact. The seller calls it a Super Compressor due to the dual crown system with internal rotating bezel, but I don’t think this one was made by Epsa. Still, it is super cool. The dial is a fancy, roulette or rally style, with vibrant mixed colors that is a sight to behold. There is a day/date window at three o’clock. The internal bezel looks like it rotates with a window that will display the month at the least, and maybe more? The dual crowns are signed with the Sandoz logo, but do not have the tell-tale Epsa cross-hatching. Again, no movement pictures but runs well per the seller. This is another unique piece that is sure to stand out in the crowd!
Vintage Citizen “Bullhead” Chronograph
Here’s a great vintage Citizen bullhead chronograph. The “bullhead” chronograph is where the crown and pushers are at the top of the watch, with the pushers looking like the horns of a bull. Supposed to be more ergonomic, but to be honest they don’t feel that way to me. However, I do love the look! This example has a rounded steel case, with the original brushed finish intact. The white dial with black sub dials has that desired “panda” dial look, and is in great condition. There are two chrono sub dials at 3 and 9, with the 6 sub dial holding a vertical day/date window, leaving the watch with a soothing symmetry. The crown at 12 is signed with the Citizen “CTZ” logo as it should. The bracelet is not original, but does look good. The automatic winding caliber 8110A movement is clean and runs well per the seller. While Omega and Seiko may get the majority of the bullhead love, the Citizens are a great watch, and harder to find!
Vintage Seiko J14106 “Unique”
Next up is a beautiful and rare vintage Seiko Unique. Honestly, this is a model I’ve seen for sale only a couple of times, and this is a gorgeous example. The 34mm steel case is excellent and unpolished, with sharp edges on the slim lugs. The caseback lettering is clearly legible and it still exhibits the original brushed finish. The simple silver dial has slim stick markers and steel dauphine hands. No date window and no extraneous printing on the dial. Just plain, simple and elegant. The Seikosha movement is clean and runs well per the seller. Really sharp example of a scarce vintage Seiko dress watch.
Angelus Military Chronograph
Last up this week is a brilliant vintage Angelus military style chronograph, complete with original boxes and papers. The 38mm steel case is unpolished, with razor sharp chamfers on the beautiful lugs. The black dial with gold printing is in great shape, and looks to be original. The painted lume numbers are aged to a dark color, but other than that the dial has survived extremely well. This example has round pushers, which I prefer to the older flat pushers. The Angelus signed manual wind movement is super clean, and runs well per the seller. Best of all, this beauty comes in the original steel clamshell box and the outer cardboard box, as well as the certificate of guarantee. It is definitely rare to see a chronograph of this era in such nice, original condition with the box and papers.
