Disney Cruise Line is expanding its Bahamas and Caribbean lineup for summer 2027, adding more short getaways and longer Caribbean itineraries from both Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.
The Disney Dream will return to Port Canaveral for summer 2027, operating three- and four-night cruises to The Bahamas. The sailings will include stops at Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, Disney’s newest private destination in The Bahamas.
It comes as the cruise line is also planning its first-ever cruises to the Dominican Republic, as Caribbean Journal reported.
Also sailing from Port Canaveral, the Disney Fantasy will continue offering four- and five-night itineraries to The Bahamas and select Caribbean ports. The ship will also operate a 10-night Southern Caribbean voyage for travelers looking for a longer cruise option during the summer season.
The Disney Treasure will continue sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, with Disney highlighting the ship’s onboard entertainment and dining alongside visits to destinations across the region.
From Fort Lauderdale, the Disney Destiny will continue sailing three-, four- and five-night itineraries to The Bahamas and the Caribbean. The ship will also operate four seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. Select voyages will include stops at both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
Disney Cruise Line has been steadily expanding its presence in the region, with its private island destinations remaining a central part of its Bahamas strategy.
