Introducing: The Christopher Ward C60 Trident Lumière ‘Green Fifteen’ x Bark & Jack

It’s a treat to see Adrian Barker’s take on the ubiquitous dive watch, and his stripped-down, minimalist, essentials-only yet purpose-driven timepiece is a looker. It’s a proper expression of the design influences that we’ve seen him single out and explore on his YouTube channel. In the Green 15, we see not only Christopher Ward but Tudor, Omega, perhaps a bit of Longines, and most certainly Rolex.

The price point seems more than reasonable considering the materials, design considerations, and Swiss-made quality. Consider the price of the big brand competition, and you’re getting similar features, materials, and honed aesthetics for considerably less price. I don’t care much for the look of the bolt-on crown guards on the Trident, but losing them would, I reckon, diminish the purposefulness and robustness of the watch. Some have called Barker’s toned-down take on watch design ‘boring,’ but the Green 15 shows us just how useful and refined ‘boring’ can be.
