Barceló Just Expanded Its Mexico Portfolio With Two New Hotels

Barceló Hotel Group is widening its footprint in Mexico with the acquisition of two urban properties in Mexico City and Monterrey, a move that brings the company to twenty-two hotels and nearly ten thousand rooms across the country. The additions strengthen Barceló’s presence in key business districts and deepen its reach in a segment that has seen growing demand in the region.

The new hotels, which will operate as Barceló México Santa Fe and Barceló Monterrey Valle, expand the brand’s urban collection to four properties in Mexico, joining existing hotels in Guadalajara and the capital. Each brings a different strategic advantage, from access to major financial corridors to large-scale meeting and event capacity.

Barceló México Santa Fe sits in one of the most active financial zones in the western part of Mexico City. The hotel’s contemporary design and focus on business travel support its role as an anchor in the district. It features a gym, a business center, and expansive meeting and event facilities capable of hosting up to eight hundred attendees. A five-hundred-space covered parking area adds to its utility for corporate and convention groups.

In Monterrey, Barceló Monterrey Valle is set in Valle Oriente, a commercial and financial hub framed by the region’s mountain landscape. Designed by Legorreta+Legorreta, the hotel offers views of Cerro de la Silla and includes an outdoor pool, a collection of bars and restaurants, and a café. Its meeting and event infrastructure includes conference rooms and halls that can accommodate up to one thousand people, supported by a gym and a business center.
