Seiko 6138-0049

Starting off this week with a bang, or rather a bull…head! This vintage Seiko 6138-0049 Bullhead chronograph is a real beauty. The massive steel case is excellent, unpolished with sharp edges and the original polished/brushed finish. The brown dial looks to be in superb condition, with no black funk on the lume or hands. The tachymeter bezel is equally superb. The watch comes on the correct and original fishbone steel bezel, which is always a plus. Seems like this is coming from the original owner, as it includes the original sales receipt. Sadly, no box or papers. However, the watch runs and functions as per the seller. Great opportunity for a really well preserved example of an awesome vintage Seiko chronograph.

Vintage Aquadive

Here’s a nice vintage Aquadive diver from probably the 1970s. The 36.5mm case is chrome plated with a steel back, and the plating is in really solid shape. The edges are nice and crisp as well. The dial is a really cool one, black and gray bullseye style with white painted hour markers and lume filled white baton hands. The orange seconds hand has a classic lume filled lollipop tip for easy reading. The aluminum elapsed time bezel insert has a nice, mellow faded look to it, giving it a hint of that sought-after ghost bezel vibe. The rubber strap isn’t signed, but it looks original to me, or at the very least a perfectly complementary period correct one. No movement pictures but the seller states the watch runs well.

Vintage Art Deco Lapel Pin Watch

Next up is one I couldn’t pass up. This vintage lapel pin watch is a classic from a bygone era. Made for ladies, they would wear this on their coat lapel, with the watch hanging down. The dial is upside down, so when you look down to see it, it is easily readable by lifting it up a little. The pin part of it has a killer Machine Age / Art Deco design. The watch has a really cool engraving on it: “My Darling Wife from Your Boy”. This would make a perfect gift for the stylish lady in your life, just in time for the holidays!

Vintage Men’s Military Style Gotham Wristwatch

Here’s a great little vintage military inspired Gotham. This is a classic 1940’s watch made with a military style dial that was popular during that time. The 31mm steel case is nice and sharp, with stylish lugs. The cream white dial has painted lume Arabic numeral hour markers with lume filled skeleton hands. Really clean, classic look, with nice patina. What it lacks in size it makes up for in style! The manual wind movement is clean and runs well per the seller.

Vintage Enicar Ocean Pearl

Next up is what looks to be a virtually new old stock vintage Enicar sporty dress watch. The 35mm steel case is unpolished, with nice sharp edges. The scalloped edge case back is super clean too, and even has the original protective sticker over the Enicar dolphin logo medallion. The silver dial is mint, and has great looking faceted steel makers and a raised Enicar Saturn logo at 12 o’clock. The original crown is signed with the Enicar logo as it should be. The watch comes on the original bracelet with an Enicar signed buckle. Great looking vintage Enicar in incredible condition. No movement pictures but the watch runs per the seller.

Vintage Omega Manual Wind Watch

We started off strong with the vintage Seiko Bullhead, and we’re going to finish strong with this sweet vintage Omega dress watch. The 34mm case is in 14k yellow gold fill, and is in perfect condition. The bezel has a really neat pebbled texture that I haven’t seen on an Omega before. The silver dial is immaculate, with slim gold hour makers and stick hands, and a classic sub-seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The original crown is signed with the Omega symbol as it should. This watch has a presentation engraving, one for the past president of a Lincoln-Mercury dealers association from 1962. Really well done hand engraving. Great vintage Omega!
