Sandals Is Adding New Plunge-Pool Villa Suites to Its All-Inclusive Resort in St Vincent

When it comes to hotel amenities in the Caribbean, there’s one we tend to place above everything else: having your own private plunge pool. It just feels better than a regular suite. It’s your own oasis, private, easy to access, serene. 

When it’s an option, I always recommend that travelers make the splurge — it’s always worth it. 

And now Sandals has announced a major addition to its buzzing all-inclusive resort in St Vincent: and it’s all about plunge pools. 

Beginning early next year, Sandals St Vincent is adding plunge pools to 24 new-look suites: one-bedroom Butler Villa Suites that will, yes, all come with their own private plunge pools. 

So what are they like? 

The Villa Suites are lush garden rooms; you get 935 square feet of space, a king bed, double vanities, a rain shower and a soaking tub (yes, big enough for two). 

That’s in addition to all-inclusive signatures like the in-room bar with top-shelf liquors, airport transfers, in-room dining, Mondavi wines and stocked fridges. 

It’s another lift for a resort that has had a game-changing effect on both the Caribbean all-inclusive space and the island of St Vincent itself — something we’ve called the “Sandals Effect.” Indeed – St Vincent has quickly become one of the fastest-growing destinations in the Caribbean right now. 

The new suites are already bookable; you can make reservations for stays beginning Jan. 25, 2026, Sandals confirmed to Caribbean Journal. 

Of course, there’s a wide diversity of room options at the company’s St Vincent resort, which first opened last year. That includes the resort’s famous two-level overwater villas.
