Located in the heart of Perth’s CBD, Adina Barrack Plaza has recently completed a $4 million refurbishment led by owner, Serene Capital, with design and turnkey delivery by Hospitality International. Phase one of the refresh touches every corner of the hotel – from upgraded guest rooms and corridors to a revitalised lobby.

There’s new tech throughout, including smart TVs, upgraded Wi-Fi, new door lock technology, and improved air conditioning, plus a full overhaul of FF&E and back-of-house infrastructure.

All of the hotel’s studios and apartments have been made over, with water-inspired design elements reflecting Adina’s relaxed Australian aesthetic. A standout feature is the custom-designed 2m x 2m square king beds, crafted with pocket springs, memory foam, and breathable fabrics to deliver superior sleep comfort. Striking new herringbone carpets, feature walls, revitalised bathrooms and kitchens, and outdoor furniture complete the new look.

“With apartment sizes ranging from 32 sqm to 101 sqm, and big balconies overlooking West Perth and Northbridge, Adina Barrack Plaza offers a spacious, residential feel that’s ideal for corporate travellers during the week and leisure guests on weekends,” Sedgwick said. “It’s also a great fit for families and long-stay visitors, especially with the new ECU city campus just around the corner.”
