Bob Busman appointed Director of Revenue & Reservations at Media One Hotel

Media One Hotel has appointed Bob Busman as director of revenue & reservations.

Busman arrives with over 14 years of international hospitality experience across Europe and the Middle East having worked for the likes of Park Inn by Radisson Leuven in Belgium, Radisson Blu Deira Creek, Sofitel Dubai The Palm and Millennium Plaza Downtown.

He boasts a proven track record when it comes to delivering excellence in guest experience, brand compliance, operational efficiency and profitability.

A graduate of Stenden University in the Netherlands, Busman holds a B.Sc. in International Hospitality Management, along with certificates in Hospitality Business Acumen, while he is also a certified trainer in Performance Management and Competency-Based Interviewing.

As Director of Revenue & Reservations at Media One Hotel, Busman will be tasked with overseeing revenue management, distribution and reservations, with a clear focus on positioning the property as a market leader.

Busman enjoys transforming data into bold, actionable strategies, fostering synergy across departments and building high-performing teams. Passionate about innovation, he embraces unconventional thinking, challenges norms and encourages his team to take smart risks to differentiate the hotel in a competitive market.

Prior to joining Media One, Busman spent two years as Director of Operations at Millennium Plaza Downtown Hotel, which followed a short spell in the Director of Revenue position at Sofitel Dubai The Palm.

He also spent over eight years working in multiple roles for the Radisson Hotel Group, including Cluster Director of Revenue across Radisson Blu and Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis, Regional Responsible Business Coordinator for the Middle East and Rooms Division Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel Dubai Deira Creek.

Additionally, Busman worked in roles for the brand across Europe, including playing a pivotal part in the opening of Leuven’s Park Inn by Radisson, as Revenue Manager at Radisson Blu in Liverpool and Assistant Revenue Manager / Sales Executive at Shiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands.
