Delta Is Launching a New Nonstop Route to Grenada — an Island With Stunning Beaches, Rugged Rainforests, and Serious Spice

Hiking through rainforest trails that end in secret waterfalls. Diving into an underwater sculpture park that feels like another world. Tasting rums that tell centuries of history. Exploring a harbor so colorful it’s been called the Portofino of the Caribbean. That’s Grenada — wild, refined, and quietly one of the most complete destinations in the region.

Now, taking a Grenada vacation is about to get easier than ever.

Delta Air Lines has announced new daily nonstop service from Atlanta (ATL) to Grenada (GND), beginning Dec. 20, 2025, and operating through Apr. 12, 2026 — a major boost for U.S. travelers seeking a direct route to the Spice Isle.

The service will run throughout the winter season, offering seamless connections to Grenada’s lush interior, historic capital, and neighboring sister islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique.

It’s another win for Grenada’s growing tourism momentum. The island has been generating serious buzz for its mix of luxury and authenticity — from white-sand beaches like Grand Anse to cultural experiences steeped in nutmeg, cocoa, and rum.

And while the new flight makes the island easier to reach, the hardest part might be deciding where to stay on an island filled with unique, personality-filled retreats.

So where do we like lately?

Silversands Grenada, the island’s modern icon, stretches across Grand Anse with sleek villas and the Caribbean’s longest infinity pool. The legendary Spice Island Beach Resort remains a benchmark for island luxury and personalized hospitality – and it’s all-inclusive.

For an intimate, barefoot-cool getaway, Laluna offers a secluded hillside retreat blending Balinese design with barefoot Caribbean ease.

Travelers looking for more traditional all-inclusive comfort will find it at Sandals Grenada or Royalton Grenada, while the Radisson Grenada Beach Resort anchors Grand Anse with easy access to St. George’s and the island’s best dive sites (it’s got some of the best-value direct-beachfront rooms in the Caribbean).

Grenada’s appeal lies in its contrasts — rainforests and reefs, spice plantations and five-star suites, old-world warmth and new energy. With Delta’s new nonstop service, those worlds just got a little closer.

So what about prices? The new nonstop flight costs bout $615 roundtrip, according to Google Flights data.
