American Airlines Is Bringing Back Saint Lucia Flights from New York-JFK

American Airlines is bringing back its nonstop connection between New York and Saint Lucia just in time for the winter season. The airline will resume weekly Saturday service from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Saint Lucia on Dec. 20, with flights continuing through winter 2026, according to local tourism officials.

The route has long been a key link for travelers from the Northeast looking to trade city streets for the island’s beaches, rainforests and luxury resorts. With this winter schedule, travelers will have a direct gateway to Saint Lucia’s peak season — when warm trade winds and clear skies draw visitors from around the world.

The service adds to American’s existing year-round flight schedule from Miami International Airport, strengthening the island’s airlift during its busiest months. It also marks a continued investment in the Caribbean market as U.S. travel demand for warm-weather destinations remains strong.

Flights will operate every Saturday, offering a convenient nonstop option for both vacationers and returning Saint Lucians during the holiday and winter travel period.
