Southwest Airlines is expanding its international network this winter with new nonstop service from Las Vegas to two of Mexico’s most popular beach destinations: Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.
The new routes, launching in June 2026, will give travelers in the western United States more direct access to Mexico’s Pacific coast. Both destinations are known for their wide beaches, upscale resorts, and easy access to vibrant local culture — making them perennial favorites for U.S. vacationers seeking warm-weather getaways.
Southwest’s new flights will operate daily, adding more lift to two of Mexico’s busiest leisure gateways. Los Cabos has seen steady growth in airlift over the past year, while Puerto Vallarta continues to expand its appeal with both beachgoers and adventure travelers.
The new routes are part of Southwest’s broader push to grow its international service, particularly from key U.S. leisure markets like Las Vegas.
The new routes routes will be the only existing nonstop flights from Las Vegas to either destination.
They’r already on sale now.
They come after Southwest just announced plans to launch flights from Las Vegas to another powerhouse destination in Mexico, Cancun.
