Jimmy John’s is bringing back its internet-famous Picklewich for a limited time. The lineup returns nationwide on October 27, now with six options: Vito, Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Tuna, and Veggie — all complemented by a new Pickle Ranch dipping sauce, the return of Pickle Jimmy Chips, and a Triple Pickle Meal that bundles them together. JJ Rewards members get early access from October 24 to 26.
While pickles usually ride shotgun next to a sub, the Picklewich makes them the main course. Last year’s run sparked a nationwide pickle frenzy; this comeback expands the platform and gives fans more ways to lean into the briny crunch.
“Jimmy John’s fans are freaks for our Jimmy Pickles, and last year, the Picklewich took the internet by storm,” said Kate Carpenter, vice president of marketing at Jimmy John’s. “We’ve created a pickle-lover’s dream that delivers bold, signature flavors that only Jimmy John’s could deliver.”
Built on two hollowed-out, brined cucumber halves in place of bread, the Picklewich returns and builds on last year’s two-item run. The Vito Picklewich packs salami, capocollo, and provolone with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, and oregano-basil; the Turkey Picklewich layers turkey, provolone, shredded lettuce, and tomato.
New this year are four more takes: Ham, Roast Beef, Tuna, and Veggie, each tucked into the same pickle “bun,” with the lineup image showing classic deli fillings (ham or roast beef with provolone and lettuce, a tuna salad version, and a meatless build with cheese and vegetables) built for maximum crunch.
In addition to the six builds, Jimmy John’s is introducing Pickle Ranch, a versatile new dipping sauce perfect for any sandwich — and Pickle Jimmy Chips. The Triple Pickle Meal bundles your chosen Picklewich with the chips and Pickle Ranch in a single order.
Quick-service chains continue to offer popular flavors in limited-time formats, providing customers with familiar tastes in new ways. The Picklewich fits right into that trend with a fun, portable, and unmistakable format.
The chain is also teaming up with Demi Lovato for a playful digital spot tied to the launch, a pop-culture nod that underscores how pickle content continues to spread across social channels. Her dog, Pickles, makes a cameo.

The timing falls right into 2025’s pickle moment.
