Eli Kulp



Class of 2014

Eli Kulp’s culinary pedigree is staggering, including a career-defining run as chef de cuisine at Torrisi Italian Specialties before coming to Philadelphia to run the acclaimed kitchen at Fork in 2012. He opened the more casual, instant classic High Street on Market the following year. Kulp was forced to pivot in 2015 when an Amtrak accident left him paralyzed. He remains a partner at High Street Hospitality alongside chef Ellen Yin, hosts the Delicious City Podcast, and launched an awards show called The Tasties, consistently celebrating the tight-knit Philadelphia restaurant community.
