For as long as I can remember, my mom has cooked in Le Creuset Dutch ovens. I learned how to sauté, sear, make soups, braise, and fry in those pots. When I got my first real job, I decided to splurge on a Le Creuset Dutch oven of my own, even if it meant not buying other cookware for a while. I’ve tested plenty of pots and pans since then, and Le Creuset remains my old faithful, enduring high heat, the dishwasher, and three moves. That first purchase has encouraged me to add more pieces to my kitchen, like a Le Creuset butter dish and gravy boat I tested for Food & Wine, which look so timeless that I imagine I’ll never want to replace them.
But with this October’s new releases, it turns out that Le Creuset can successfully make more unexpected, utilitarian pieces into instant classics, too, including storage containers, cookware protectors, and an oil sprayer. Other accessories in the drop include a redesigned oil cruet and a set of two condiment pots, all glazed in signature Le Creuset colors. Loyalists will absolutely want to add them to their kitchens, especially because prices start at just $20.

Rectangular Silicone Storage Container
Le Creuset
While glass food storage containers have gained a lot of traction as more and more people replace plastic in their kitchens, food-safe silicone remains an underrated option, mostly used for reusable storage bags. That makes Le Creuset’s silicone containers an even more surprising release, as their rectangular shape lets you stack them neatly in a cabinet, the pantry, or the fridge. They’re available in three sizes: 17 ounces, 34 ounces, and 68 ounces.
Signature Oil Cruet
Le Creuset
I’m also surprised that Le Creuset seems to be replacing its more conical olive oil cruet with this new, bottle-shaped design. Still available in two colors, the older Signature Olive Oil and Vinegar Set comes in sets of two 10-ounce bottles, whereas this new cruet holds 20 ounces — an upgrade that can hold most, if not all, of a bottle of your favorite olive oil. It comes in a dozen gorgeous glazes.
Oil & Vinegar Sprayer
Le Creuset
This new release is the most surprising to me. If you regularly buy and toss oil sprays, a refillable sprayer will stop that cycle as an eco-friendly alternative that lets you turn any of your favorite oils or vinegars into a mist for cooking and coating pans. While it seems atypical of Le Creuset’s lineup, it joins a handful of other stainless steel tools, including measuring cups, a garlic press, and a grilling tool set. And this stainless steel container looks so sleek that you might actually choose to leave it out on the counter or on a floating shelf.
Condiment Pot with Spoon, Set of 2
Le Creuset
When you’re hosting a dinner, little details like dedicated condiment pots make a big difference. With spoons that sit at a slant, these small containers remind us of sugar bowls, but you can use them for much more, including ketchup and aioli for fries, whipped butter and jam for bread, or even salt and pepper.
Ruffle Brioche Dish
Le Creuset
The tall, ruffled side of this dish may seem to be all for looks, but Le Creuset designed it to bake brioche evenly and slowly: the key to a loaf that’s airy on the inside and browned on the outside. The glazed, nonporous stoneware keeps food from sticking or staining.
2-Piece 12-Cup Round Dutch Oven Cakelet Pan
Le Creuset
Le Creuset makes one of our favorite bundt pans for mini bundt cakes, but this set of cakelet pans takes a more whimsical approach, shaping cupcakes and muffins like mini Dutch ovens — a nod to Le Creuset’s signature piece. One pan creates the bodies of the Dutch ovens and the second, shallow pan creates the lids. Its combination of carbon steel with non-toxic silicone coating helps cakes brown evenly and release with ease.
Signature Utensil Crock
Le Creuset
When you’re choosing a good utensil set, factors like shape, material, and ergonomics do make a difference. When it comes to a utensil crock, however, your choice basically comes down to which design you like best. I’d recommend this new Le Creuset crock for a few reasons. On top of looking stylish on a countertop, its stoneware build will help keep it from scooting when you’re getting utensils in and out. With the same stoneware glaze as Le Creuset cookware, this crock will hold up well over time, and it can go in the dishwasher — a perk if it’s in range of oil splatters from the stove. It’s available in small and large sizes.
Silicone Cookware Storage Protectors, Set of 2
Le Creuset
When buying a Le Creuset Dutch oven, you’re expecting it to last for decades, which makes proper care a must. Le Creuset already offers a set of three cookware protectors in large, flower-shaped felt, which sit either between two stacked pots or between a pot and an inverted lid. If you’re looking to address the latter concern, however, these new silicone tabs are smaller and more streamlined, while still providing just enough cushion to keep pieces from scratching or chipping.
