Yeti’s New Fire Pit Will Keep You Warm This Fall and Winter

Just because the days are shorter and the weather is growing colder doesn’t mean that you have to spend your evenings cooped up inside. No matter the temperature outdoors, it’s fun to gather with loved ones around a fire, spear marshmallows with long sticks, and sip hot chocolate (with or without a shot of whiskey mixed in).

Yeti designed this fire pit to last. Over time, the silvery facade will develop a bronze-colored patina that acts as a shield against rust. It’s more than capable of surviving inclement weather, provided that you do your best to keep water from sitting inside the pit after the storm blows itself out. Fortunately, Yeti included a lid for just this purpose. If you keep it covered when not in use, the brand swears your fire pit will only “get better with age.”

A fire iron is included in the bundle, though you can easily turn this pit into a grill with an additional purchase of the Fire Pit Grill Kit. With a small grate that can be raised to rest food and lowered to warm it, and a large grate to cook hamburgers, vegetables, chicken, and the like, you’ll be able to make an entire meal outside from start to finish. Of course, you can simply get the fire pit on its own and use it to make s’mores with friends or light the night for family. At 31 inches in diameter (27 of which are taken up by the basin), it’s the perfect in-between size for both intimate gatherings and large get-togethers.    

We could see ourselves using the new Yeti fire pit year-round. It’s an investment that will elevate any night from ordinary to extraordinary.
