Parramatta is set to come alive with flavour and flair this October as PARKROYAL Parramatta turns up the heat for the much anticipated Parramatta Lanes 2025. As the official hotel partner of the festival, the hotel will collaborate with the City of Parramatta and Garcia Entertainment to transform Phillip Street into a fiesta hotspot, celebrating Latin culture, local produce and Western Sydney’s vibrant food culture.
Held from 22nd– 25th October, the highly anticipated festival transforms Parramatta’s laneways, car parks and public spaces into a four-night celebration of eats, beats and art, drawing thousands of visitors to the heart of Parramatta’s CBD.
Paying homage to its location in the Latin Quarter precinct, PARKROYAL Parramatta is bringing the fiesta to the streets with a bold activation. The marquee, labelled BAR30 & Parrilla, is set to deliver flame-grilled flavours, vibrant drinks and high-energy fun right on Phillip Street. Latin DJ’s, live entertainment from acts such as Mr. Cuchuco, The Changuas and Steve Zappa will be featured on both Phillip Street and an elevated DJ deck in Bar30 as a part of the Parranda Down Under programming.
Festivalgoers can expect an authentic street food experience with traditional open-grill street eats like Choripan and Asado Pan served straight off the fire. The bar will be pouring festival favourites like Pisco Sangria and Modelo beer, created in collaboration with local producers such as Parra Distilling Co, along with Spicy Margarita’s in partnership with ESPOLON. Surrounded by salsa classes, street performers and live music, BAR30 & Parrilla is set to be one of the festival’s must-visit stops.
The fiesta continues inside, with BAR30 & Bistro set to become a festival viewing deck complete with DJ sets and roving performers. Parramatta Distilling Co. will take over the bar, with their staff serving up a curated selection of gin, vodka and whisky.
“Parramatta is evolving rapidly and Parramatta Lanes captures the creative spirit that defines the area. PARKROYAL Parramatta is proud to support an event that brings together so many parts of the local community. This partnership reflects our focus on creating authentic, locally-driven experiences and sharing the very best of Western Sydney with our guests” said Hans Joachim, Hotel Manager at PARKROYAL Parramatta.
PARKROYAL Parramatta’s involvement reflects its strong ties to Western Sydney’s cultural and culinary scene and is just one example of PARKROYAL Hotels & Resorts’ global commitment to the celebration of locality and connecting guests with the soul of a destination. At each and every PARKROYAL hotel, guests are invited to experience more than a stay – whether it’s dining on dishes made with local ingredients, enjoying art inspired by indigenous traditions or discovering cultural programmes and hidden neighbourhood gems. PARKROYAL Parramatta brings this philosophy to life through close ties with the Western Sydney community, championing local producers and artists and supporting local cultural events like Parra Lanes.
The partnership also comes at a pivotal time for the hotel, which recently completed an extensive refurbishment of two-thirds of its guest rooms. The redesign draws on the natural beauty of the Greater Sydney region, with interiors inspired by local materials and flora, including sandstone tones and indigenous wattle motifs. With final enhancements to the lobby and its MICE facilities set for completion in the coming month, PARKROYAL Parramatta continues to align with Western Sydney’s transformation, solidifying its place as a key player in the region’s exponential growth.
