Mondrian Mexico City Condesa is introducing Distrito Mondrian, the newest corporate meetings and events venue in the Condesa neighborhood, officially opening this October. As Mexico City prepares for a dynamic 2026, the sleek venue will become a stylish hub within the city’s meetings and events landscape, offering the only venue in the neighborhood with panoramic views of the city, natural lighting, and art-forward elements that create an atmosphere inspiring connection and celebration.

The launch comes at a time when planners are increasingly seeking dynamic destinations that blend business and leisure, highlight local culture, and offer more personalized experiences that feel thoughtful and memorable. Distrito Mondrian is offering a design-forward, community-driven approach that reflects the cultural backdrop of Mexico City.

“Industy trends show how meeting planners are prioritizing venues and destinations that can deliver authentic experiences and go beyond standard spaces, so it’s important that we’re able to adapt to these needs in a lively destination such as Mexico City,” says Claudia DiGino, General Manager at Mondrian Mexico City Condesa. “Distrito Mondrian was designed to be more than a venue. At Mondrian, we maintain a personalized, design-forward, and community approach that makes every experience feel thoughtful and elevated.”

Through an art-centric backdrop, an elevated culinary approach, and flexible elements, Distrito Mondrian delivers a complete package beyond its square footage, blending functionality, creativity, and local culture. Key elements include:

  • Bold Design: The venue is set within the emblematic I421 Live District, a local landmark designed by local architect José Luis Benlliure, bringing a contemporary design and authentic Mexico City feel to gatherings.

  • Space Flexibility: Distrito Mondrian covers 2,500 sq ft of space, which can accommodate up to 278 guests theater-style or 250 for a reception, offering a flexible option for weddings, corporate gatherings, or special celebrations.

  • Unparalleled Panoramic Views: Located on the hotel’s ninth floor, offering sweeping views of Mexico City.

  • Tailored experiences: The hotel’s dedicated meeting and events team can design dedicated programs to enhance a visit, ranging from curated art and cultural activities, pairing dinners with the hotel’s mixology team, or a specialized culinary menu to match any special celebration.

Beyond its new venue, Mondrian Mexico City Condesa offers an additional 15,000 square feet of customizable indoor and outdoor spaces, all of which can be adapted to a variety of event types. These include:

  • La Terraza: Featuring a 2,850 sq. ft. open-air terrace perfect for alfresco dinners and cocktail receptions (up to 200 guests)

  • The Penthouse: 1,550 sq. ft. of chic, private space for intimate celebrations or dinners

  • Distrito Roma & Distrito Condesa: Two flexible 550 sq. ft. rooms ideal for breakout sessions or smaller meetings

  • The Flower Shop: An inviting, design-forward coffee shop that adds character to any intimate event for up to 30 guests.

Each event is complemented by the hotel’s refined culinary program with a carefully crafted menu inspired by La Condesa’s culinary scene.

Conveniently located between La Roma and La Condesa, Mondrian Mexico City Condesa combines bold design, cultural character, and a prime location for planners within the city’s growing MICE landscape. With 183 rooms, a signature restaurant, and versatile event spaces, the hotel is well-positioned to host meetings and events that reflect the dynamic spirit of Mexico City.
