This Le Creuset Coffee Mug Is My Secret to a Cozy Fall

Ever since high school, my mornings have started with a cup (or three) of coffee. Though my preferences have shifted over time from AeroPress pour-overs to my beloved Nespresso machine, one thing has remained the same: The mug or tumbler I drink my coffee out of matters.

Le Creuset says the Vancouver mug is one of its bestselling pieces, and I’m not surprised. Two pretty rings and the words “Le Creuset” are embossed at the base of the mug, and the lip curves out slightly for easy sipping. The 14-ounce mug has a nice heft to it — not so heavy that it strains my hand, but not so flimsy that I worry it’ll break in the dishwasher (and yes, it’s dishwasher-safe). If you want to make a mug cake, the stoneware material and scratch-resistant glaze are safe for the oven and broiler. I’ve found that it doesn’t keep drinks as hot as my insulated Yeti mug, which isn’t surprising since the stoneware isn’t insulated. And since the mug is microwave-safe, I can reheat my coffee without worry.
