Wegmans Just Released Its 10 Must-Try Fall Groceries

Grocery shopping for treats is always fun, but fall brings its own magic. Aisles are awash in orange labels, pumpkin-flavored items appear in every corner, and dinner options embrace the cozy flavors of fall.

Wegmans is leaning into this seasonal change with a collection of fall products that will delight any autumn enthusiast. Even if it’s not your regular supermarket, it’s worth making a special trip to explore the New York-based chain’s seasonal lineup — from pumpkin desserts and pumpkin spice coffee to apple-filled treats and more.

A Wegmans Foods Market representative shared 10 must-try fall favorites with Food & Wine, perfect for cozy nights, Thanksgiving and Friendsgiving gatherings, or solo snacking as the weather turns crisp.

Pumpkin remains the star of the season, but Wegmans adds new twists. The Large Ultimate Sliced Pumpkin Cheesecake layers pumpkin spice swirl into a plain cheesecake, baked on a cinnamon graham cracker crust, and topped with whipped cream. Another option, the Pumpkin Roll, is spiced with cinnamon, ginger, and clove, layered with cream cheese filling, and finished with whipped cream and cinnamon.

Wegmans also spins pumpkin into frozen treats with Pumpkin Pie Ice Cream Sandwiches — pumpkin pie ice cream between two vanilla wafers. For coffee lovers, the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew is back, offering an unsweetened coffee with a warm pumpkin spice aroma. 

Of course, pumpkin isn’t the only fall flavor on display. Wegmans’ bakery section has apple desserts, including the Apple Fritter Bread — fluffy, cinnamon-spiced inside, with a crisp vanilla glaze outside. For birthdays or gatherings, the Caramel Apple 3 Layer Cake layers apple- and cinnamon-infused cake with caramel diplomat cream, apple filling, and cinnamon crumble. The Organic Apple Streusel Granola, with dried apples and cinnamon, works as an easy breakfast or snack.

For those craving savory fall flavors, Wegmans’ Amore Pumpkin and Cheese Mezzelune Pasta — imported from Italy — is filled with pumpkin puree and mozzarella. Pair it with the Spiced Apple Chopped Salad Kit, which comes with honey-roasted sesame chips, smoked Gouda, apple cinnamon puff chips, and apple cider vinaigrette.

If hosting Thanksgiving is on your calendar, Wegmans’ Fall Harvest and Honey Tray makes appetizers simple. The grazing board includes four cheeses — Bon Vivant, aged Medium Gouda, honey goat cheese, and ParmCheddar — along with Red Wine & Black Pepper Salami, dried cherries, whipped honey, caramelized pecans, and marcona almonds. Depending on the party size, the tray is available in half ($30), full ($59), or collection ($150) sizes.

A Wegmans spokesperson noted that availability varies by store, “depending on past sales at different locations.” So it’s best to visit your nearest location to scout for some of these fall favorites before they sell out. These seasonal favorites won’t last once fall fades and shelves reset for winter.
