Frontier Airlines Is Launching New Two New Routes to San José del Cabo — From Las Vegas and Atlanta

Frontier Airlines is expanding its Mexico footprint with the launch of two new nonstop routes to San José del Cabo this winter, Caribbean Journal has learned.

Beginning Dec. 20, 2025, the ultra-low-cost carrier will add weekly flights from both Las Vegas and Atlanta to the Baja California Sur destination.

The flights will operate once-weekly on Saturdays.

Introductory fares are starting at $99 one way, according to the airline.

The move strengthens Frontier’s push into leisure-focused markets across Mexico, where demand for affordable airlift to resort areas has been accelerating.

San José del Cabo, part of the Los Cabos region, has been one of Mexico’s fastest-growing tourism hubs, buoyed by luxury hotel development and rising arrivals from the U.S.

Frontier’s latest expansion adds to a crowded competitive field at Los Cabos International Airport, which has seen a surge of new air service from U.S. carriers in recent years.
