With over 12 years of experience in the hotel sector and having previously worked with Accor both overseas and in Australia, Telfer brings valuable insights into the brand and a deep understanding of the local and global hospitality industry.
Telfer has previously worked with Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa and Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour, and throughout his career, he has fostered strong relationships across key tourism and industry bodies, convention centres, and local clientele, positioning himself as a trusted partner and leader within the hospitality sector.
As Director of Sales and Marketing at Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park, Telfer will lead cross-functional collaborations with hotel departments, foster strong relationships with clients and guests, and position the hotel at its best across various platforms. As the ultimate location for sporting events, including the Formula 1 in early 2026, and a prime spot for conference travellers, Telfer sees a great future for events at the property coming up.
