Peter Minatsis appointed General Manager at TFE Hotels

TFE Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Minatsis as General Manager of the highly anticipated 188-room Hannah St. Hotel Melbourne, set to open in Southbank this summer.

General Manager Peter Minatsis brings his industry expertise to the new Hannah St. Hotel Melbourne. An artist’s impression of the work club space.

Peter is a highly experienced hotelier whose career spans more than two decades across Australia, Fiji, and Canada. Known for his thoughtful leadership style and guest-first philosophy, he brings a strong operational foundation and a passion for building authentic, high-performing teams. He joins TFE Hotels from Le Méridien Melbourne, where he led the successful pre-opening and brand relaunch in the Australian market. His previous roles include General Manager at Sheraton Melbourne Hotel, and senior leadership positions at The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa and Sheraton Resort & Spa Tokoriki Island in Fiji. Peter has also held senior positions with Marriott, Westin, and Sheraton properties across both Canada and Australia during his twenty-year career.

DARWIN: Earlier this month homegrown hospitality brand, Adina hotels, delivered a dose of community spirit to the Northern Territory with the launch of Darwin’s inaugural Adina Community Clinic at the MWT Hockey Centre.

As the official accommodation partner of Hockey Australia, Adina continues to invest in grassroots initiatives that inspire the next generation of athletes. The Darwin clinic welcomed more than 200 local children and their families, offering a rare opportunity to train alongside some of the nation’s top hockey talent.

Led by elite players from the Hockeyroos, Kookaburras, Territory Stingers – and featuring recently retired Hockeyroo legend Brooke Peris – the free clinic delivered a day of hands-on drills, autograph sessions, and photo opportunities – designed to ignite passion for the sport and foster community connection.
