Grenada Tourism Authority Redefines Its Online Voice With Dual Platforms

Grenada is sharpening the way it tells its story online. The Grenada Tourism Authority has separated its digital presence into two distinct channels — one designed to inspire travelers, the other to keep industry partners informed.

The Pure Grenada page will remain the global showcase for the destination, highlighting the beaches of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique alongside the islands’ culture, food, and year-round events. As the branded home of Pure Grenada – The Spice of the Caribbean, it is aimed squarely at vacation planning, offering a steady stream of inspiration for travelers looking to the tri-island state.

The Grenada Tourism Authority page takes on a different role. Here, the focus is corporate: press releases, trade show updates, partner news, special travel offers and a weekly events calendar — content built for stakeholders and the broader travel industry.

The shift comes as part of a larger effort to refresh how Grenada presents itself. A new corporate website is in development, one that will host programs like 473 Connect, Grenada Travel Expert, Pure Grenada Excellence Champion and Tourism Licensing, along with the Authority’s payment portal. It’s also the first step in a broader brand audit designed to sharpen Grenada’s global positioning.

“By distinguishing between the Pure Grenada destination page and the Grenada Tourism Authority corporate page, we are able to strengthen our communication on both fronts,” said Tornia Charles, Chief Marketing Officer of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “Travellers continue to be inspired by the Pure Grenada brand, while our stakeholders gain a clear and consistent channel for updates on the organisation’s work.”

“This strategic distinction underscores our steadfast dedication to clarity, transparency, and competitiveness,” said Stacey Liburd, CEO of the Grenada Tourism Authority. “It guarantees that Pure Grenada remains an inspiring presence on the global stage, while the Grenada Tourism Authority’s corporate page serves as a focused platform for communicating our progress and vital partnerships that drive the growth of our tourism industry.”

The new framework is designed to give Grenada’s digital voice more clarity and precision — and to help the islands compete more effectively on the global stage.
